The 2011 season started in the mid-May and seemingly was aborted a month later. The league had it's pros and cons in 2011. Unlike in 2010, we had access to a place to play that actually
had a fence. We added a key feature to the field - 10 foot tall foul poles, which prevented a lot of arguments.The strikezone's plexiglass was on the receiving end of damage caused by fastballs in Spring Training. It was replaced with particle board, which stood up to every abuse. Unfortunately, the new strikezone outlasted the 2011 season itself.
